The Bayview Community Council is a civic organization promoting the welfare of the community in and around our wonderful town of Bayview. There is FREE open membership for those 18 and older who reside or own property within a six-mile radius of Bayview.
The “Council” has a variety of fund raisers each year (yard sales, dinners, booths, etc) so it in turn can give back to the community through social, cultural, educational, or citizen assistance programs.
Examples of these are: sponsoring of speakers, food bank door-to-door drive, road cleanup, scholarship for higher education opportunity, and Bayview Centennial entrance sign sponsorship & maintenance, along with many other worthwhile endeavors.
The Council also schedules and sponsors monthly interest and fun outings for anyone who would like to participate. These include short travel trips, plays, dinners, biking excursions, and many others. It also communicates and supports issues of local concern as the need arises through our monthly Shorelines newsletter.
Come join us! We generally meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month, 7 p.m. at the Community Center. Or join us for one of the sponsored activities.
